The Hermitage in Spring
Few places are as lovely to walk in as the Hermitage in Spring.
The waterfalls, rapids and swirling pools of the River Braan provide the focal point for this wild ‘tree garden’.
Created by the Dukes of Atholl 250 years ago as an extension of the gardens of what is now Dunkeld House Hotel, it includes two romantic ‘follies’, with the main one, Ossian's Hall, overlooking falls where you can witness the amazing sight of the salmon jumping on their way to spawn.
